Discover the Trade Stands at the Autumn Plant Fair
Our Autumn Fair on 11th October is shaping up to be a wonderful celebration of plants, food, drink, traditional skills, local organisations and independent businesses. With such a varied collection of trade stands joining us, there will be plenty to explore throughout the day.
Plants, nurseries and garden inspiration
Plant lovers will be spoilt for choice, with an impressive selection of specialist growers and nurseries attending the fair.
Look out for Credale Nursery, Green's Leaves, Gwaun Valley Nursery, Heartsease Plants, Hoyland Plant Centre, Malcolm Allison Plants, Overseas Farm Nurseries, Lovegroves, Pheasant Acre Plants, Shady Plants, The Gobbett Nursery, Three Pools Nursery, Triffids Nursery, Tynings Climbers, Hillside Exotic Gardening, Alchemy Ferns and Griffiths Nursery.
You’ll also find LOHAS Fertiliser, Nourished Earth and Carbon Earth, alongside Matt Morris – Garden Buildings and Benches and Three Counties Teak Garden Furniture. Whether you’re looking for an unusual new plant, practical gardening products or ideas for an outdoor space, there should be plenty to tempt you.
Delicious food and drink
No autumn gathering would be complete without something delicious to eat and drink. Joining us will be Andrew King Chocolates, Mr T’s Pies, Bellota, Chaaboo, Extra Virgin Olive Oil Direct, Grandma Bees, Mr Gyro, Kelsmor Dairy, Marches Mushrooms, Monkland Cheesemakers Ltd, Nant Helyg Farm (Garlics) Ltd, Origin Pizza, Outlaws Coffee, Truly Tea, Ty Madoc Cider, Wicton Farm – Wild Cow Dairy and Radnor Hills. Lucky 7 Beer Co will also be at the fair, together with Wild Nectar and Wye Valley Beekeepers. Come hungry and enjoy discovering an exciting range of local and specialist flavours.
Artists, makers and rural crafts
The fair will showcase a fantastic variety of creative talent. You’ll be able to meet Alexandra Pechabadens, David Owen, Emily Hacker, Hannah Madden, Breinton Botanics, Cassie’s Garden and Tina Williams, as well as the talented makers behind Dreycott Crafts, Indigo Forge, Jenny’s Butterflies, Jude Piper Glass Art, Jules Avery Ceramics, Sew It Felt Right, Tink Woodsmith, Wye Wicks and Wye Willow.
Also joining us are Celia’s Herbals and Botanical Lampshades, Coco Alpacas, Wild Isle Outfitters and Creative Breaks who will be offering demos throughout the day. Tails of Wales Dog Photography will be attending too, offering something special for devoted pet owners.
Community, conservation and more
Our Autumn Fair is also an opportunity to meet organisations doing valuable work in our communities and countryside. We’re delighted to welcome Meningitis Research, Herefordshire Wildlife Trust and St Mary’s Church Kington.
Completing our wonderfully varied line-up are the Wye Valley Axemen who will be putting on a display at 12.30pm.
With plants to discover, food to enjoy, beautiful handmade pieces to browse and inspiring people to meet, this year’s Autumn Fair promises something for everyone. Bring your friends and family, take your time exploring the stands and help support the growers, producers, makers and organisations joining us.
Let's not forget, your entrance to the fair also gives you the opportunity to explore our 70 acre gardens and parkland, with all the beauty that autumn brings.
