Visitor Information
Hergest Croft Gardens are now closed for the winter season and we will re-open on Saturday 2nd March 2024 (weekends only) until 1st April when the gardens will be open daily until 31st October.
Maples Tea Room will remain open for vistors on specified days during the winter, however, there is no access to the gardens - please see our home page for further details.
If you would like to visit the gardens between October and March, why not purchase a Season Ticket? Attractively priced at only £32, they are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase and holders can visit the Gardens 365 days a year. Please phone the office on 01544 230160 for further details, email gardens@hergest.co.uk or call into Reception during our opening hours.

Additional Information
Dogs: Dogs on leads are welcome throughout the gardens.
Accessibility: Facilities are provided but some areas of the Gardens are not accessible to wheelchairs/mobility scooters. There is a printed version of our accessible map available at Reception. You can also download our access statement.
Special Opening: Hergest Court is open by appointment. Please contact Hergest Estate Office for more information.

How to find us
The gardens are on Ridgebourne Road in Kington.
Directions
From Kington Town Centre follow Church Road until it becomes Montfort Road at the junction with Hergest Road. Continue over the brow of the hill and turn immediately left into Ridgebourne Road.
From Floodgates, turn off the A44 (signed Kington/Huntington) onto Montfort Road. After approximately 400 metres turn right into Ridgebourne Road.
The car park for Hergest Croft Gardens is approximately 450 metres up Ridgebourne Road on the right hand side. If you have a blue badge or need to drop off someone with limited mobility then continue past the car park and take the first turning on the left. This is just a drop off point. Please then park in the main car park where there are designated spaces.
